Invoices
The Invoice history in MyProjects contains only invoices issued through 2Checkout for your Geoapify subscriptions. The documents are fetched from 2Checkout when you open or refresh the page and are not stored by Geoapify.
If your company is invoiced directly by Geoapify, Geoapify sends the invoice directly to your billing contact. Direct Geoapify invoices do not appear in Invoice history.
Account-wide invoice history
Each project has its own subscription and billing information. The Subscriptions & Billing page combines the 2Checkout invoice histories for all projects you own, and lets you filter them by project and time period.
Only the project owner can access billing information and download invoices. Project collaborators can see the project and its current plan, but they cannot open its invoice history.
For more information about project-level billing, see Billing and subscriptions.
Find an invoice
To review invoices issued through 2Checkout:
- Sign in to MyProjects.
- Open Billing from the account menu.
- Find Invoice history.
- Optionally filter by project or time period.
The invoice table shows:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Date | The date reported for the order by 2Checkout |
| Project | The Geoapify project associated with the order |
| Order reference | The 2Checkout order reference |
| Plan | The plan identified by the order, when available |
| Type | The transaction type reported by 2Checkout |
| Retrieves the available invoice document from 2Checkout |
Keep the order and subscription references when contacting support about a specific payment or invoice.
Download an invoice
Open Invoice history and select Download PDF beside the required order. MyProjects retrieves the document securely from 2Checkout and downloads it to your device.
A PDF may not be available for every order or transaction type. If 2Checkout does not provide a document for the selected order, MyProjects displays an error instead of generating an invoice locally.
Where 2Checkout sends invoices
2Checkout sends invoices, payment receipts, and subscription-related messages to the billing email associated with the subscription.
The billing email can be different from the email used to sign in to Geoapify. Changing your Geoapify account email does not automatically update the billing email stored by 2Checkout.
You can also open the 2Checkout MyAccount portal and sign in with the email address associated with the subscription.
Direct invoices from Geoapify
Geoapify can invoice EU companies directly for yearly subscriptions only. Contact Geoapify support before purchasing to arrange direct invoicing.
Geoapify sends the invoice directly to the company's agreed billing contact. Because the invoice is not issued through 2Checkout, it is not listed in the MyProjects Invoice history or the 2Checkout MyAccount portal.
Looking for a direct invoice? Check the inbox of the billing contact provided to Geoapify. Contact Geoapify support if the invoice needs to be resent or corrected.
Keep invoice details accurate
Each project can have separate company details, billing address, VAT or tax ID, and billing email.
For a 2Checkout subscription, open Subscriptions & Billing, select Manage subscription for the project, and update Billing details before the next payment. The new information is used for future billing, but you should not assume that it will update an invoice that has already been issued.
If an existing invoice contains incorrect information, contact Geoapify support. Include the project ID and, when applicable, the order and subscription references. Never send full card details or account passwords.
If an invoice is missing
Check the following before contacting support:
- Confirm that you own the project associated with the subscription.
- Clear or change the project and period filters in Invoice history.
- Confirm that the payment was completed and approved.
- Check the billing email inbox and spam folder for messages from 2Checkout.
- Sign in to the 2Checkout MyAccount portal with the subscription's billing email.
- If your company is invoiced directly by Geoapify, check with the agreed billing contact instead of looking in MyProjects.
If a 2Checkout invoice is still unavailable, contact Geoapify support and include the project ID, subscription reference, and order reference if known.
Frequently asked questions
1Where can I find my invoices?
Open Subscriptions & Billing and find Invoice history. Filter by project if needed. This page contains invoices issued through 2Checkout only.
2Who can access a project's invoices?
Only the project owner can access billing information and invoices. Project collaborators cannot view or download them.
3Where are 2Checkout invoices emailed?
They are sent to the billing email associated with the subscription. This address can be different from the email used to sign in to Geoapify.
4Can I download an invoice as a PDF?
Yes. Select Download PDF next to an order in Invoice history when 2Checkout provides a PDF document for that order.
6What are the order and subscription references?
The order reference identifies a particular 2Checkout transaction. The subscription reference identifies the subscription associated with that transaction. Include them when asking support about a specific invoice.
7Can different projects use different invoice details?
Yes. Each project can have its own company information, billing address, VAT or tax ID, billing email, payment method, and invoice history.
8Will changing billing details update an existing invoice?
Do not assume that an already issued invoice will be updated. Change the project's billing details before the next payment and contact Geoapify support if an existing invoice requires correction.
9Where can I find an invoice issued directly by Geoapify?
Direct Geoapify invoices are sent to the company's agreed billing contact. They do not appear in MyProjects or the 2Checkout MyAccount portal.
10Why do I not see an expected invoice?
Confirm that you own the correct project, check the invoice filters, and verify that the payment was approved. If the company is invoiced directly by Geoapify, check with the billing contact because the invoice is sent separately.
